Favorite Women’s Ski Jackets | 2024

As the snow-covered mountains beckon, avid skiers and snow enthusiasts eagerly prepare for another thrilling season on the slopes. Beyond the excitement of mastering those turns and conquering challenging runs, there's an undeniable joy in expressing personal style through the latest in winter fashion.

For the adventurous women hitting the slopes in 2024, here's a roundup of my favorite women's ski wear that seamlessly combines performance, comfort, and, of course, style:

Head KORE Jacket: Built for the demands of free-ride skiing, this ski jacket is waterproof and breathable with a sporty, slightly loose and comfortable fit. I abslutely love this deep green color!

TREW Unisex Popover Jacket: My favorite piece of the 2024 winter season! Pop on the Popover Jacket once, and you might never opt for a center zip again! I am so excited and so in love with this pullover. I love the bright orange exterior color with the yellow accents and zippers! I feel like sunshine on the cloudy days and my friends can easily find me on the mountain. I also love the side zipper. This makes it easy to take on and off and I can unzip for more ventilation or while sitting on the lift. Swipe to see the epic logo placement on the backside!

Arc’teryx Sentinel Relaxed Jacket: Arcteryx finally created a jacket with a more relaxed fit! I always size up in this brand because I like my clothes looser around the hips. This is a perfect relaxed-fit GORE-TEX shell for the backcountry and resort.

Black Diamond Dawn Patrol Pants & Jacket: Built for long tours in the backcountry. Another personal favorite ski-wear piece of 2024! These pants are the perfect fit. I could wear these all day everyday. “Designed with a single-minded focus on highly efficient mountain travel, the Dawn Patrol Pants are the quintessential high-output touring pants. Constructed from an optimally breathable and extremely durable fabric, they are the daily driver for any backcountry enthusiast.”

Salomon Stance Cargo Jacket: With an all-mountain vibe, this jacket loves hitting the slopes and venturing further. The uncompromising combination of weatherproof protection, warm insulation and stretch fabric mean you can focus all your attention on enjoying the sensations. I love the big pockets on this jacket! This is a great staple piece in your ski wardrobe. Pair this with any color ski pant for a new look!

Haglofs Green Orsa Parka and Yellow Orsa Parka: Packed with features that ensure you stay warm and dry. The outer shell is made with a recycled face, and it’s insulated with sheet insulation that provides warmth even when wet without adding bulk. A slightly longer fit, adjustable hood and cuffs help keep the elements out. You’ll also find several strategically placed pockets and smart reflective details in this pullover!

Armada Sterlet 2L Insulated Jacket: The Sterlet Jacket’s insulated quilted construction blends a timeless style and silhouette with modern functionality. Adjustability and mobility courtesy of a drawcord hood and hem mean plenty of room to move on the mountain. This Ruby Red color is beautiful and stands out in the snow!

Dope Snow Annok: I haven’t been very impressed with prints this winter season, but this one takes the cake! I may be biased for a little cheetah print! This annok also has lots of slick little details like our contrast drawstrings and triple pocket system.

Helly Hansen Nora Long Insulated Ski Jacket: A design-savvy and technical insulated ski jacket. Helly Hansen makes amazing ski wear, and the added insulation in this jacket should keep you extra warm! Make it easy on your friends to find you on the slopes in this beautiful yellow color!

Boulder Gear Sedona Jacket: This stylish and functional jacket is designed for warmth and comfort, no matter how harsh the weather conditions may get. The Sedona Jacket has a distinct look that is both chic and rugged. If you are a neutral girly, this may be the perfect timeless jacket for you!

Kari Traa Karen Jacket: This is a breathable, water-repellent women's ski jacket with a sporty look. I absolutely love the cut of this jacket with the extra large pockets in the front! Perfect for the skier who typically loses track of their items and needs backup snacks with them on the slopes.

Black Crows Women’s Ferus Mechanical Jacket:Non-insulated ski jacket for active all-terrain skiing. Another jacket with a relaxed fit, and a slightly long cut. Women’s Ora Xpore Jacket: This technical jacket is dedicated to big mountain efficiency, with a feminine cut. Pre-countoured in the back, it is a jacket that brings freshness in design. Women’s Ora Body Map Jacket: A protective jacket designed in the Ora parka style, the body map combines a design statement. An ideal jacket for mountain skiing with a unique concept of insulation placed on the body but breathable for the most advanced practices.

Jones Women’s Shralpinist Stretch Recycled Jacket: The Shralpinist Stretch Jacket is a fully featured 3L jacket built for adventures that demand a storm proof shell that’s as comfortable as it is functional. The Shralpinist Stretch balances performance, comfort and sustainability to create the ultimate jacket for dawn-to-dark tours.

Houdini Women’s Heyday Jacket: Heyday has-it-all, mountaineering shell jacket. This is 100% circular design. Heyday Jacket is 3D shaped with Made to Move technology to facilitate the movements of mountaineering and backcountry skiing. I really like this monochrome, neutral, timeless and comfortable look of this jacket.

Montec Virago Ski Jacket: A parka fit and extended drop for a truly head-turning look. It's got bold tech specs, a storm-proof construction to keep you warm in all conditions, and plenty of thoughtful design touches to keep you carving until the last lift stops spinning. With oversized outer pockets for that cargo look and versatile storage options, the Virago has a utilitarian style and is more than capable of standing up to the toughest conditions, too.

Halfdays Aston Jacket: Half-Days has my heart this year! The belted, relaxed-fit, monochrome jackets and matching pants! I am in love! This ultra-chic and performance-driven belted ski jacket is designed with a full day on the mountain in mind. I bought an REI leash for my phone, but Half-days was smart enough to build it into their jackets! No more losing your phone on the lift! Also, these amazing outfits come in a number of different amazing colors to help you stand out on the mountain even on the darkest of days! Large Pockets! That is all!

DC Women’s Phoenix Parka Technical Ski Jacket: Gear up for the adventure ahead DC's Phoenix Parka technical snow jacket for women. This looks so incredibly thick and warm, while still being oh-so stylish and technical. Featuring Weather Defense waterproofing and PrimaLoft® Black insulation made of post-consumer recycled material, this premium hooded snow jacket adds modern touches with a tailored fit and performance-enhancing details. SO thankful that so many of these brands are understanding our need for big pockets on the mountain!

Helly Hansen Women’s Powderqueen 3.0 Ski Jacket: Helly Hansen makes such great ski shells! If you already have your base layer and insulated piece, then a shell is all you need to finish the fit! This yellow jacket is stunning in person! Stand out and be a skittle on the slopes.

Rab Women’s Khroma Diffuse Gore-Tex Jacket: Engineered for any adventure in the backcountry. Adapting to varied conditions and ideal for all-winter use, this hardwearing GORE-TEX ski shell features a longer length style for protection in deep snow. Jessee has this jacket in the men’s version, and I cant help but borrow it. This piece is amazing for the days you desperately need to stay dry. I currently use a Rab Micro Puff Mid-Layer jacket under all of my ski clothes because they truly know how to make incredible jackets for the outdoor enthusiasts.
